ARTIST BIO

Chris Lucas is an artist & musician from Warrington, England. Influenced at an early age by the Motown and Soul records his Dad would play around the house on heavy rotation, it’s no wonder that legends like James Jamerson & Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn resinate in his playing style.  Chris now resides in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, a city rich in musical heritage.  He tours as a full time bass player for Country Star, Eric Paslay  (Song About A Girl’, ‘Friday Night’, ‘She Don’t Love You’). Previously, Chris spent 4 years as part of the GRAMMY award winning Country group, Shenandoah (‘Two Dozen Roses’, ‘Church on Cumberland Road’, ‘Next to You, Next to Me’).
Lucas also performs as a solo singer/songwriter nationwide and has shared the stage with legendary artists such as Randy Houser, Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Shooter Jennings, Confederate Railroad, John Anderson, The Guess Who, Doug Stone, Craig Morgan, Sherrie Austin, Warrant, and many more. He is currently in production on his debut EP.  BJ Thomas recorded one of Chris’ songs for the 2013 movie, ‘Doonby’ starring John Schneider (2013).
In his time off stage, Chris also has a passion for film and television and was recently cast as Gael Garcia Bernal’s photo-double for the Kate Hudson film ‘A Little Bit of Heaven’.
