Andrew moved to New York City from Monroe, CT in 2004 to study music at The New School. It was at school where he met Charli Persip, and was brought in to be part of Charli’s new trio called Sip +2. He was also taken under the wing of Bernard “Pretty” Purdie, and was blessed enough to be able to play and record with him. This was so special for him since he grew up listening to Purdie. After four years in the city, he moved out to Los Angeles, where he is working or has worked with Drake Bell, Daniel Bedingfield, Quadron, and Eric Hutchinson, as well as with many local acts. Andrew is currently playing with Hanson.
Some of his biggest musical influences are James Jamerson, Duck Dunn, Bob Babbitt, Pino Palladino, Leland Sklar, Ray Brown, Nathan East, Sam Cooke, James Taylor, and Oscar Peterson.
