In the 1920s and 1930s, the 12-string guitar was popular with Delta Blues players especially "Lead Belly". The 710-12H set is specifically made for C tuning used by "Leadbelly" & Pete Seeger -- La Bella Endorsee.
As a part of La Bella's Silk & Steel series, these sets are made with silver-plated copper wire, hand-wound over a middle layer of pure Italian silk filament and an inner steel core. Preferred by finger-style guitarists for their soft touch and sweet tone, these strings have less tension than standard steel, bronze or brass wound strings.
