Olinto’s take on a classic! We take this iconic bass and create a couple of functional options that take this instrument into the 21st century. We use our standard 1.5” thick body and place our pickup south of the original position Leo Fender did in the early 50s models he first introduced to the world. Why do we do this? The reason is that harmonics are greatly improved compared to the original. On top of this improved pickup placement, the seemingly normal looking single coil is in fact a humbucking pickup designed to reduce excess noise.
