Ron relies on La Bella’s 760T & 760N nylon tape bass strings for his MTD basses.

As a performing and recording musician, Ron has performed with innumerable musicians and various major recording artists over the last fifty years. Starting in the 1970’s with high school cover bands, to performing New Jersey ‘s Another Pretty Face, Ron eventually worked his way to recording acts. He has subbed , dubbed, and taken the last-minute calls from being the house bassist for the dozens of NAMM Jams to any situation he has been called on to render bass services, including being the east coast bassist for famed jazzman Richard Howell and the blues band, Key Largo.

In the 1980’s Ron co-founded “The Suits” whose over twenty-five-year career spanned two LPS and garnered national touring opportunities with Cutis Mayfield, The Doobie Brothers, Eric Burdon and the Animals, Hot Tuna, Rory Gallagher, Blue Oyster Cult amongst many other artists. The Suits appeared on Conan O’Brien and were the house band for” America’s Talking” on CNBC. Ron’s Jazz/Fusion/ Blues projects such as The Blue East Ensemble have included musicians such as , Ritche Deraney, Vince Villanueva, Ed Alstrom, Jay Dittamo, Joe Bergamini, Michelle Ramos, Mark Clemente, Kendall Scott, Andy Karp and Candyce Giaquinto- just to name a few. The ensemble has played for several state Governor’s rallies and speaking engagements and has been a prime choice for major fundraiser and corporate events in the NYC area. Additionally, Ron performs with several cover bands at venues through the east coast and continues to back up singer /songwriter Thomas Claxton in several iterations of acts as well as projects with guitarist Allan Friedman.

He also records and performs with former Renaissance guitarist, Ryche Chlanda ( also the vocalist /guitarist with Nektar), in Ryche Chlanda and Flying Dreams. They have released two LP’s on Sony / The Orchard / TransGlobal Records.

Ron’s day gig performances are as a well-known intellectual property and entertainment attorney.
