ARTIST BIO

Originally from a small village in the south of France called Leucate, Pierre began playing music at the age of 10. As a self-taught musician, he discovered the electric bass through Rock and Funk.

At the age of 13, he started studying bass at the Leucate Music School. Thanks to his first teacher, Guy Marty, with whom he studied for four years, he became passionate about Jazz, pop and world music.

In 2012, he joined the Didier Lockwood Music Center, where he studied jazz and improvisation alongside: Marc-Michel Lebevillon, Jean Michel Charbonnel, Chris Jennings, Gilles Coquard, Thierry Fanfant …Within the curriculum, Pierre spent 5 months studying in Brazil at the Souza Lima and Berklee School in Sao Paulo. He studied with Professor Sizão Machado, who passed on his knowledge and gave him a taste for Brazilian music.

In June 2016, Pierre graduated from the Didier Lockwood Music Center. Today, he plays with many bands and has collaborated with: Clara Luciani, Adrien Gallo, Vanille, Nina Attal, Nach, Moodoïd, M, Joseph Chedid, Alexia Gredy, Kaycie Chase, Gaël Faure, Victor Solf, Desmond Myers, Rémy Beesau, Mathis Pascaud et Hugh Coltman, Bill Deraime, Romain Pinsolle, Courrier Sud, Yo and the South, Panam Panic, Dominique Fillon, Franck Tortiller Collectiv, Octave Lissner, BAST, Comète, Kévin Braci quintet.
