Paul Page is a freelance bass player based in New York City who has toured and recorded with many illustrious artists including John Cale, Dion, Bo Diddley, Del Shannon and Ben E. King.
Since 2007, Paul has been the bassist for Ian Hunter as a member of the The Rant Band, the touring and recording outfit for the iconic singer-songwriter and former front man of Mott The Hoople. Paul played on Hunter’s last two studio albums “Man Overboard” and “When I’m President.”
When not with The Rant Band, he maintains a dynamic schedule performing and recording with Rock and Roll and R&B legends, bands and singer-songwriters. Paul played in the critically admired roots rock band Martin’s Folly and played on their albums “Man It’s Cold” and “From Hope” as well as on Gary US Bonds latest album “Christmas Is On.”
In 2014 Paul completed a 5-month tour with The Rant Band and saw the release of the CD, “SGSB” with his band, The Sidney Green Street Band.
With the release of “SGSB” The Sidney Green Street Band joined an exclusive group of performers with their induction into New York’s Blues Hall of Fame in February 2015.
