British-born Michael Spriggs has been an A-String String Session, #1 songwriter and producer in Nashville for over forty years. He started out playing lead guitar for the successful regional band the Rogues in Buffalo NY in 1965 moving to Nashville in 1971 to become Eddie Rabbitt’s lead guitarist and music director for five years. That was the beginning of a long relationship with every major label, publisher and many producers in the industry.

Spriggs just finished producing Trace Adkins “The Kings Gift” celtic album for Sony Red to be released in Oct 2013, playing all the guitars on the record.
He works with hundreds of engineers, writers, session players and artists annually. He has been featured in Finger Style Guitar, Vintage Guitar, Guitar Player Magazine, Taylor Wood and Steel twice, and the Peavey Monitor three times.
He is a successful instrumentalist and has been a featured artist on NPR’s “Echoes”for over ten years with a total of three CD’s “Without Words”, “Neurasenia” and “Sonic Venue” on Agnes Records. He is about to complete a fourth CD “Back To 1” to be released in November of 2013.
